Christmastime Play Date

My two little Christmas elves. Two of my favorite little people having a play date with Auntie.

Now, let us take a moment to recognize what it took to get this picture. :)

Please keep your hat on, Eldie.

Lauren, put your hands down and show me a regular smile.

Look at the camera.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Yes, that is very cute and funny.

Lauren, your hat is the same size as Eldon's. He just has a smaller head.

Not Quite....Eldie looks a little like Elvis.

Almost. Got. It.

Score! YES! YES! YES! That will work!

Yes, now you may have a cookie. (Cookie bribery helped us get this done! LOL)

Celebrating the cookie!

Thank you, Lord, for special people.

I love you, Eldie and Lauren!

Pretty Lake

A week with the Cook Family. It is definitely not relaxing, but it is definitely FUN!  Most of the week we had 8 kiddos running around. There were a few days when we had up to 14 kiddos running around! Here are some pictures from the week!

Eldon waiting on his boat ride with Bump.

Fun at the playground.

Avner and Peter

Story time with Aunt Katie

Mommy threw the girls in the lake, but the girls got revenge!

The girls pushed Aunt Mary Anne in the water, too with Mommy's help!!

There was plenty of time for snuggles, too!

The kids liked to dry off in the sun after a swim.

Will you push me? Will you push me? Will you push me?

Will you push me? Will you push me? Will you push me? Lol.

Kisses from Petie!

Early morning snuggles by the lake with Eldon.

Girl time! Lol.

It is always a good feeling to be back home. However, the house was pretty quiet last night. It was weird not having a kiddo sharing the bedroom or bed (when he had a bad dream). It was weird waking up at 7:30 instead of 6:40. When I got a drink or snack out of the cabinet no one was yelling, "I want one!" or "Me, too!"

I kinda miss that! :)

Thank you, God, for my Cook family.

Relay For Life

I had a great time at the Jackson County Relay for Life. I was glad that my nieces, Celina and Lauren, could come and join the fun.

Here are some of my favorite pictures.

Lauren was our strong man!
(She didn't want to be a man. She wanted to be a girl. Lol)

The clown nose lap.

Luminary Ceremony

We hope one day no one will ever have to hear the word, cancer.
Praying for those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
